[HONG KONG, December 19, 2022] Recently, Asia's largest biotechnology exhibition, the BIOHK2022, was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Mr. Leung Chunying, attended the opening event and delivered a speech. Mr. Kingsley Leung, Chairman of Great Bay Bio (hereinafter referred to as “GBB”), was invited to attend the roundtable and delivered an important speech.
BIOHK
is the flagship exhibition of Hong Kong and the international biology industry,
co-organized by the Hong Kong Biotechnology Organization, the BayHelix Group
and Ausvic Capital, aiming to provide a global exchange platform to explore the
potential and unlimited biotechnology business opportunities in Hong Kong and
to allow global industry players to network. This event attracted over 200 top
domestic and international exhibitors and 90 heavyweight speakers to attend.
Among them were members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative
Conference and leading experts in the medical field.
In
a roundtable themed "Let's Make Hong Kong a Biotech Hub", Mr.
Kingsley shared the innovative entrepreneurial journey of GBB in applying
AI-enabled platforms to promote biotechnology innovation and solve many pain
points such as long drug development cycle, high cost and low success rate, as
well as promote the development of Hong Kong and international biotech
industry, which was recognized and supported by many senior management and investors
in the exhibition.
